Prices Payment
01 How much does it cost to wash and dry?
The 12 kg washing machine costs €3, the 15 kg €4, and the 20 kg €5 per wash. The 18 kg dryer costs €1 for every 10 minutes: €1 for 10 minutes, €2 for 20 minutes, or €3 for 30 minutes.
02 Can I pay with a card?
Yes. The payment screen on site has a card reader: you choose whether you want to wash or dry, select the machine, and pay with your card. The screen is available in several languages.
03 What if I want to pay with cash?
You can also. There's a change machine on site to convert bills into coins.
04 Do I need to bring detergent?
No, and you shouldn't add any. Each wash includes detergent, fabric softener, and active oxygen, which the machine dispenses automatically. Do not put detergent, fabric softener, or any other cleaning products into the machine.
Wash Dry
05 How long do wash and dry cycles take?
Wash cycles last between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on capacity. For the dryer, you choose 10, 20, or 30 minutes depending on what your clothes need; a full load is usually ready in 30 minutes.
06 Which washer should I choose?
The 12 kg machine is sufficient for a normal load. The 15 kg machine is good for large loads or clothes for several people, and the 20 kg machine is recommended for duvets, blankets, and sleeping bags.
07 Can I wash comforters and large items?
Yes. We have 12, 15, and 20 kg washing machines, perfect for bulky items like comforters, blankets, or sleeping bags.
08 Is there anything I can't put in the machines?
Yes. To ensure proper machine operation, washing and drying rugs, footwear, and pet clothing or beds is strictly prohibited.
09 Can I choose the drying temperature?
Yes. The dryer has a touchscreen with adjustable time and temperature to suit each type of garment.
The Laundromat
10 What are your hours?
We are open every day of the year, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, including holidays and Sundays. To finish on time, the last wash or dry cycle must start before 9:30 PM.
11 Where can I park?
You can park right outside. We are at Av. Díaz Ovelar, 12, Villafranca del Bierzo.
12 What can I do while I wait?
Grab a coffee, read something from the mini book exchange (take a book, leave a book), connect to the free Wi-Fi, or just relax while your laundry finishes. If you prefer to go out, there are bars nearby.
13 Is the laundromat monitored?
Yes, the place has security systems and cameras for your peace of mind.
14 Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed inside.
House rules
15 How late can I start a wash?
We close at 10:00 PM, so please don't start any wash or dry cycles after 9:30 PM.
16 Is there staff on the premises?
No, the laundry is self-service and there is no staff on-site. If you have any problems or questions, call us at 677 459 338.
17 Can children use the machines?
For safety, don't let children handle the machines.
18 Which cycle or temperature should I choose for my clothes?
Check the label on each garment before choosing the wash cycle or maximum drying temperature. The user is solely responsible for any damage to clothing caused by an improper cycle or temperature.

19 Is this a good spot for Camino de Santiago pilgrims?
Absolutely. We're right on the way, with large, fast machines so you can get back on your route with clean, dry clothes.
20 Can I wash my sleeping bag?
Yes. The 20 kg washer has plenty of room for sleeping bags, and the 18 kg dryer gets them ready for the next stage.
21 Can several pilgrims share a washer?
Sure. Putting several people's clothes together in the 20 kg washer is the most affordable way to wash as a group.
